Throughout my life, music has been there for me through the good and the bad. My songs help me work through tough times and reflect on how far I have come over the years.
Thanks for taking the time to read my story, I hope you get some inspiration, or at least some joy, from reading it.
Early Years
I started writing songs as a young child, which spawned a lifelong love for music and songwriting. My dad bought me a beautiful guitar (which I still use to this day) to help me develop full songs. In high school, I would write songs for my friends and for extra credit. I played my first show at a mattress store in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin and released my first full length album.
But I look to my Future
In 2024, I learned about Make Music Madison, which inspired me to create a live set from the backlog of songs I had been writing. Now having returned to performing, I am excited to continue playing more shows and recording more songs and videos to share!
Mistakes and setbacks are part of life.
Although I never stopped writing and singing, I spent the years after high school focused on school (and working to pay for school). After graduating, I took a full time job and continued writing, but didn’t prioritize performing.
