I’m thrilled to announce that my new single, Assh*le, is coming later this month! This song holds a special place in my heart, as I wrote it over six years ago while training for my first marathon and processing the end of an unhealthy relationship.

What makes this song meaningful to me is the journey it represents. While writing, I realized I was finally able to stop taking responsibility for someone else’s actions and stop accepting their false narrative about me. I can still vividly remember running along the Capital City Trail when the last lines of the second verse came to me: “But our wrongs were not the same. And I will not carry your blame anymore.” That moment was truly liberating.

This song is not just mine; it’s for anyone who’s ever felt weighed down by someone else’s actions or false accusations. I hope it can be a source of strength for you—reminding you that you are not alone.
